It’s been something we wanted to do for a while now. You know that feeling, your passion, technology and great people you meet along the way that make it possible to do great things. Cafe Pellicola Live is such initiative. We are happy to invite you to join our monthly live video hangouts as we “virtually” meet for coffee with special guests: ranging from filmmakers, festivals’ artistic directors to Italian Studies cinema scholars.
Our first cafePellicola Live hangout was on 8/11/14 where we hosted a live conversation with our good friend Professor Pasquale Verdicchio, Italian and Comparative Literature at University of California, San Diego. Professor Verdicchio shared his perspectives about Italian cinema from the past – growing up in Napels during the 50’s-60’s – to current artistic trends and challenges.
